On Tuesday, a group of TY students travelled to TUS Athlone to participate in the Midlands H2 Grand Prix Sprint Race organised by Kinia.
Competing against schools from across the Midlands, they won the overall competition, recording the fastest time of the day with an impressive run of 4.024 seconds.
The team was supported on the day by Laois County Council Broadband Officer, Antoinette Brennan, and we sincerely thank her for her continued support of STEM initiatives such as this.
The students will now progress to the Pro competition, where they will compete at national level at the end of April.
