First Year Induction Day is next Monday, August 18th from 9am to 2pm. Students do not wear their uniforms on this day or on their IT Training Day on Tuesday.
They should wear track suits and runners on Monday at least as they will be doing various activities. Tuesday, again, they can wear their own clothing.
All need to bring their packed lunch and a drink.
At 2pm they will be collecting their books and stationary to bring to the classrooms where their IT training will be on Tuesday. They will have the help of the Meitheal and Cinnerai leaders in doing this. After that, they can go home. As you can imagine, there are over 170 students and this will take some time. It will have to be done in small groups. Some will be finished before others, and some will be last. So I cannot say the exact time all the lads will be finished. I suggest between 3pm and 4pm. If they have their mobiles with them they can ring you themselves.
