All incoming 1st years, as well as all other students, are asked to pay the Annual Administration Fee of €102 for one student in the school, on Unique School App. If you have another son in the CBS, the family fee is €133. This fee supports the admin costs of running the School App, TYRO, postage, it supplements buses, photocopying, online payments system, extracurricular activities, Microsoft licenses across the school, the upgrading of computer rooms, and so many more ways that we support all our students, one way or another. As for everyone else across society, prices for everything have risen and we too are on a fixed income each year. We understand that families are under pressure, however, we want to continue to provide the same high level of support for our students as we have in the past.
If your son is doing TY, and you have paid his fees, the Administration Fee is included in those fees and you are not expected to pay anymore towards this.
If your TY son has a brother, you have only to pay an additional €31 online to cover a second or third son.
Also, each student must pay the school insurance of €11, also through the Unique School App which provides 24 hour coverage for your son, in and outside of school activities. Students cannot take part in sports, PE, trips etc unless they have paid this small fee. If an accident or injury should occur, whether during school or outside of school, the parent/guardian pays the medical bills and asks for a claim form from the school office. This they will send to the insurer along with the receipts showing the costs you wish to be reimbursed for. Even if your son is not taking part in extracurricular sports, he still takes part in PE. And accidents do occur outside of school time. It is money well spent.
How Do Parents Pay, OR KNOW WHAT TO PAY??
Each parent/guardian who is registered on the Unique School App, can go into their own payments account and any payment which is due specifically for their own son(s) is listed there for them. This includes, insurance, the Admin Fee, supplementary payments for practical subject fees for the current 2025/26 school year, soon the 2026/27 school year subject fees will be listed, etc. As you pay, the App records your payment which is your receipt, and removes it from the payments outstanding on your account.
