I am sorry, we cannot begin to move students on request or the flood gates will open and everyone will want something. A lot of requests have already come in since the classes were published yesterday. It is just not possible to keep everyone happy.
There are many considerations which have to be taken into account when making up classes: recommendations from 6th class teachers, the best use of SNA’s across the 6 1st year classes, and much more. Also, friend groups change regularly throughout school years.
Induction, which is on Monday August 24th, will help everyone to mix with each other. They are never with their base class for the full day, as they have option classes where a very different group makes up the class.
I know this is not what you want to hear, but it is the only way it can be managed. Enjoy your summer.
