Go Fund Me St Marys Basketball
Hi all, we have set up a Go Fund Me page to raise as much money as possible to cover the team’s costs for this amazing opportunity.
This team have won not one, but two All Ireland Senior titles back to back. We are so proud. Following their 2026 win, they have been invited to compete against other international teams in the World Basketball Senior Games held in Valencia, Spain this November. This is a first for St Mary’s CBS and a once in a lifetime opportunity for this team of lads who have brought such honour to our school and provided such example to our younger year groups.
Flights and transfers have been paid for by the students already, leaving approximately 8000 euros for other costs for the team.
All others travelling will be paying their own costs. Our fundraising is just to cover the cost of the team. If you can, we will greatly appreciate whatever donation you can make, to the above Go Fund Me link.
