Although we have not been informed of anyone with diagnosed scabies in the school, thank God, it is currently going around the town and some schools have had cases. This is simply an alert, to remind your sons to possibly minimise their fist pumping, and other such greetings, wash their hands often, and just be aware of the condition of others’ hands. This goes for both inside and outside of school.
Also, it is important that students do not call others out and embarrass them unnecessarily if they even suspect someone else’s hands have symptoms. Nobody would want that to be done to themselves. The advice is to just take care of your own hygiene.
We must always have RESPECT FOR OTHERS at the core of what we both do and what we say.
Thank you.
