The Student Council have been very busy this December. As part of their advocacy remit, they chose to fundraise for both a local and an international charity.
A Christmas Jumper Day was organised on Friday 5th, which created a wonderful festive atmosphere throughout the school and raised an impressive €560 for St. Vincent de Paul.
In addition, each member of the Student Council contributed an item to create Christmas hampers. Raffle tickets were sold to parents, teachers, and students, raising €325 for UNICEF’s Water for Gaza appeal.
The Student Council would like to thank everyone who supported their fundraising efforts and wish the entire school community a peaceful holiday.
