Next Tuesday (24th September),
a bake sale
is being held in the GPA
at both breaks and lunches, in aid of Laois Hospice.
This is one of the major fundraisers organised annually to raise much needed funds for Hospices. No matter what happens in life, most of us know someone who has been in a hospice and it brings great comfort to the family and a patient to have a hospice care for them.
This year, we are also involving our TY’s, who will look after a bake sale in the GPA. We have registered our TY class on
hospicecoffeemorning.ie and they are in with the chance of winning a €250 cash prize as well as two places for a 13 week online TY cookery course at Ballyknocken House.

We would be very grateful if our TY students and their parents/guardians would be willing to bake something for Tuesday’s bake sale, as the sale will be open to all year groups. If it is not possible to bake something as a TY student, we would appreciate your support in the bake sale. Many thanks in advance for your generous donations and baked goods.
