Our u17 soccer team played Maynooth Post-Primary at home on Tuesday in their first league game of the season. St. Mary’s CBS took an early lead through an excellent goal from Elijah Emmanuel. However, Maynooth were quick to respond with an equalizer.
After another fantastic goal from Elijah, the CBS began to take control of the game and ultimately won 5-1. It’s a solid start to the season, and the team now look forward to their next fixture in the coming weeks.
