Childminding Ireland is conducting a national survey of parents who use a childminder, ahead of new regulations coming into effect in September 2027 as part of the childminding reform programme being led by Minister Norma Foley. These changes may have a direct impact on the availability and accessibility of childminding services. Parents’ experiences and views must be heard alongside those of childminders and other stakeholders as they are implemented.
